DAY 1

10:00 Kyiv city tour. We will see main sights of the capital which are impregnated with spirit of the past...The most famous among them are Taras Shevchenko National University, Volodymyrsky Cathedral (visit), the National Opera of Ukraine, St. Sophia Square etc
13:00 Kyivo-Pechers’ka Lavra tour.
Also known as the Kyiv Monastery of the Caves, Kyivo-Pechers’ka Lavra is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery which gave its name to one of the city districts where it is located. Since its foundation as the cave monastery in 1051 the Lavra has been a preeminent center of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe. Together with the Saint Sophia Cathedral, it is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While being a cultural attraction, the monastery is once again active, with over 100 monks in residence

DAY 2

10:00 Pirogovo Open Air Museum
Officially known as the National Museum of Ukrainian Architecture and Culture, the Pirogovo Open Air Museum is the largest open air museum in Europe. Covering 1.3 million square meters, it reproduces the traditional ways of living in different regions of Ukraine and is a great way to understand the way Ukrainians lived two or three centuries ago. The museum is located just south of Kiev, next to the Holosiyivskiy forest and near the village of Pirogovo. Founded in 1969, it includes examples from all of the historical ethnographical regions of the country, as well from throughout the 16th through 20th centuries. Buildings include windmills and watermills, a traditional sauna, village administration buildings, a church school, a priest’s mansion, cafes, huts and barns. Items on display include agricultural items, household articles, musical instruments, ceramics, clothing and icons.

day 3

Secrets of Podol, mystic Andrew's descent
The tour starts from Poshtova square, you will take cable car to the Upper Town. From Desyatynna street you can admire beautiful view of Rastrelli`s masterpiece – St. Andrew`s church.
You will go down to Andriyivskyy Descent - a historic descent connecting Kyiv's Upper Town neighborhood and the historically commercial Podil neighborhood. The street, often advertised by tour guides and operators as the "Montmartre of Kiev", is a major tourist attraction of the city. There are many art galleries and workshops along the whole street.
